Boat Events & Shows Scotland 2019

Please find below the major boating events for 2019 in Scotland and as requested we have also added the dates for the UK’s biggest event at Southampton and the Dinghy show.

Note: The RNLI will be at all of these events so remember to take your life jackets for FREE safety checks.

Boat Show & events 2019


GAC OPEN weekend:  1st -3rd of March. This is not a boat show but by far the best fishing show in Scotland with free tuition, advice from the stars of the fishing world, a huge sale with great offers. Glasgow Angling Centre
Unit 1 The Point Retail Park, 29 Saracen Street, Glasgow, G22 5HT.

RYA Dinghy Show:  2nd and 3rd of March at Alexandra Palace London.  This is the UK’s biggest Dinghy event hence why we have added this to the events list. More details can be found at 

Craignish Boat Jumble Saturday  23rd of March Craignish Village Hall, Ardfern, LOCHGILPHEAD, Argyll. PA31 8QN 10 am start


New show TBC Inverkip Marina 27th and 28th April but it looks like this new show is going ahead.  More details on this soon.


West of Scotland Boat Jumble Sunday  5th May: Scottish Maritime Museum, 66 Harbour Street, IRVINE, Ayrshire, KA12 8PY. As normal we will have a stand with our boats for sale, trailers etc.


St Ayles Skiff Word Championship: 7th -13th of July Stranraer.  This is looking like a huge rowing event with over 80 boats competing in 8 catagories (each boat will be used in multiple categories so lots of racing.  Note due to the size of this event they are looking for volunteers. Traditional Boat show: Tarbert again is hosting Scotland’s best traditional boat show on the 19th – 21st  of July . More details at


Southampton Boat show: September 13th-22nd  . The UK’s largest boat show and more details can be found at


Scottish boat show 2019: October Friday the 11th to sunday the 13th it is always at Inverkip Marina and more details can be found at
