Main engines for boats up to 12 tons with a speed requirement of less than 15 knots
Back up engines as they require no servicing , no flushing out, electric start
Where you are looking for increased reliability
Boats that go into shallow water (most engines have anti- collision on the prop)
Increased longevity as there is simply less to go wrong
