Epropulsion Spirit 1 plus vs RemigoOne Neo

So both of the engines are great for tenders, small boats as a main engine up to around 500kg and as a back up engine for up to 1.6 tons.
ePropulsion Spirit 1 plus
This has detachable battery and hence other batteries can be used if required. Please note that the current single battery will last 4-6 hours on a tender, and will give a range of around 16 nm on a 1 ton boat.
Its also made by the global market leader in electric outboard engines and is slightly cheaper the Remigo Neo
RemigoOne Neo
This has inbuilt 1Kwh battery ( spirit has 11.d Kwh) but has a few other features that for some people is worth thee extra money ie
- Far lighter at only 12kg
- Only 1 unit to carry
- Optimised performance due to adjustable shaft length
- Option throttle remote control
- Increased manoeuvrability due to design shape
- 50% extra power in boost mode.
- Higher tilt angle on the tiller
- No need to buy different shaft lengths
Summary
Though both engines have been out for a while the ePropulsion spirit 1 plus is far better known. The Remigo Neo electric outboard though is lighter, more power and far more versatile
